James McManamy

James McManamy is an Ontario Certified Catholic Teacher with nearly twenty years of experience in education. He and his wife, Maria, are active members of Mary Mother of God Parish in Oakville.

Throughout his career, James has taught a range of subjects, including Religion, Philosophy, English, Church History, Ethics, and Morality. Before formally joining the staff at Mother of Good Counsel Academy, he generously volunteered his time at the school, teaching the Catholic Faith to senior elementary students.

James is also a published author of The Way of the Cross: Pro-Life Meditations (2010) and serves as a board member of Niagara Region Right to Life. His interests include reading, writing, music, sports, and travel.

James is grateful for the opportunity to contribute to the mission of MGCA by supporting students in their academic growth and faith formation. He brings to the school a deep love for Catholic education and a desire to help students understand, appreciate, and live their faith with conviction and joy.
