Kindergarten
Junior Kindergarten and Senior Kindergarten introduces your child to the hands-on learning environment of Mater Boni Consilii Academy from ages 4-5. We nurture socialization and classroom skills to spark curiosity and shepherd young learners into a structured school environment.
The Kindergarten curriculum invites students to build their knowledge and skills through collaborating with others, learning about the Catholic faith, creative thinking, reading and numeracy, and problem-solving.
Literacy & Numeracy
Social skills flourish in a full-time classroom environment through one-on-one, small group, and whole-group activities. Students practice following directions and active listening to demonstrate their care for others.
Social Development
Students build literacy and numeracy skills throughout the year to prepare for elementary classes, attaining confidence in reading, printing, adding, and subtracting.
Building Bright Futures
Students have opportunities for free choice, snack time with friends and specials (gym, music, library, art, and daily chapel visits). Learning extends beyond academics to learn manners and how to treat others with kindness and respect.
Academic subjects include language arts, writing, science, social studies, religion, and math. MBCA educators work one-on-one with students to build reading literacy, with a goal of independent reading by the end of the school year.
