Monica holds a Bachelor of Education from Charles Sturt University in Ontario, Canada after completing a Bachelor of Arts in Geography from York University. She is a dedicated teacher with a love of learning and a strong vocation to form and serve. Monica has 11 years of classroom teaching experience in a private Catholic school where she taught Junior Kindergarten through grade 8. She also has five years of in-home tutoring experience providing support to students in their learning. Monica is committed in assisting students to grow and thrive in their academic and spiritual education in a joyful, loving, supportive and engaging learning environment. Her drive comes from the scripture passage, “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” (Philippians 4:13). It is Monica’s hope that this passage can serve as a reminder to her students that they can always find strength and resilience through their faith in Christ.
