Christ is Risen! Let us Live in the Freedom of the Children of God!
Lent was a journey—a time of reflection, challenge, and quiet transformation. But now… rejoice! The tomb is empty, and Christ is truly risen! He has conquered death and opened the way to new life. As we enter this Easter season—the most joyful time of the Church’s year—we’re invited to live with hearts full of freedom, joy, and deep trust in God's love.
So often, we pour our hearts into Holy Week, only to let the joy of Easter fade too quickly. But Easter isn’t just a day—it’s a season of 50 days! A time meant to be lived fully: with laughter, with love, with renewed purpose. A time to serve generously, rejoice freely, and walk each day with the hope that Christ’s victory brings.
To rise with Christ is not just about “starting over”—it’s about beginning anew, with His grace leading the way. In a world that may try to define us by our mistakes, Easter reminds us of a beautiful truth: our identity is not found in our failures, but in God's redemption.
Jesus has conquered death—and with Him, you too can rise. Whatever weighs on your heart—your wounds, your past, your fears—know that you are not alone. This is your moment to rise, to hope again, and to live as someone who knows that love has the final word, not death.
Wishing you a blessed and joyful Easter!
In Christ,
Mr. Aguiar

Primary Division Field Trip to Mountsberg
On April 8, our Primary Division students (K-2) enjoyed an enriching field trip to Mountsberg Conservation Park as part of the “Farms & Us” program. Through hands-on exploration and engaging experiences, students learned about the vital role farming plays in our communities and its interaction with the environment. Highlights of the day included up-close visits with farm animals, a tour of the apiary to see the beehive, and time spent in the garden. The program also featured seasonal activities and games, making for a fun and educational day that brought classroom learning to life in a memorable way.
We would like to extend our sincere thanks to MBCA's Parent Advisory Council for organizing this wonderful opportunity and to the parent chaperones who accompanied us on our field trip to Mountsberg Conservation Park. Your time, energy, and care were truly appreciated and helped make the day a safe, fun, and enriching experience for our students.
Student Principal of the Day: Mr. Majetic!
Just before Easter Break, we were thrilled to welcome Mr. Majetic as our Student Principal of the Day! With poise and purpose, he stepped into leadership by beginning the day with a heartfelt morning prayer and announcements. His schedule was packed with important duties—including taking admissions calls, visiting classrooms, and even drafting an official letter to the Board of Directors to announce the launch of an exciting new tradition: "Spirit Games," to be held every first Friday in June!
Mr. Majetic also enjoyed a special lunch outing with Mr. Aguiar and Mrs. Lecanda, sharing ideas for school growth and encouraging school spirit. We’re so proud of the thoughtful leadership and enthusiasm he brought to the role—well done, Principal Majetic!
Visit to Everest Academy in Clarkston, Michigan
In early April four staff members from Mater Boni Consilii Academy visited Everest Academy in Michigan as part of a professional development and collaboration initiative. During the visit, the team engaged in shadowing opportunities and held fruitful meetings with various members of the Everest staff, including classroom teachers, the Dean of Formation, the Principal, and the Head of School. These interactions provided valuable insights into formation programs, and school operations, offering inspiration and ideas for further growth and development at MBCA. It is a blessing to network with our RC Schools across North America, and we are grateful for the RC Education community support!
